The class takes place on Mondays at 6pm - 7pm
Fairhaven Methodist Church Hall, Woodlands Road, Lytham St Anne's FY8 1BZ
Entrance is through the main car park, please bring a mat with you.
Class price - £8.00 per person.
What to expect?
A class where everyone is welcome, where new connections and friendships can be made.
Yoga is about the person as whole, linking the mind, body and breath together. Transitioning through asanas in a vinyasa flow helping to strengthen the body and alignment whilst creating space in the body helping the body to move with flow and ease.
Pranayama - breath work, each class will start with calming and grounding approach helping to bring you into the present moment away from the everyday stresses in life.
Props - Asana poses can be adapted for the individual, I like to offer variations throughout keeping the class inclusive by using props such as blocks and straps.
After working through a vinyasa flow it's important to allow time for body to absorb all the hard work you have done throughout the class by moving into a savasana letting the body melt into the mat before sealing the practice with a few rounds of breath.

I believe in the connection between mind, body, and spirit, creating a space for healing and holistic growth.
Meet Charlotte

My yoga journey began by wanting to heal my own body and gaining the knowledge to be able to help others to begin their journey.
I'm a professional figure skating BIS level 2B Development coach for over nineteen years at Blackpool Pleasure Beach arena and a gold standard figure skater competing at national and championship events.
I then went on to perform professionally in various shows such as The Hot Ice Show at Blackpool Ice Arena, soloist at The Tower of London and Liverpool One. Choreographer and soloist perform at the Isle of Man Christmas show ice rink opening. International principal adagio pairs performing in Lille, France during this time I have learnt a lot about how to train and condition the body.
When teaching yoga I hope to inspire others building up throughout different flows and creating a challenge but always remembering to listen to your body. I always like to start my classes with breath work, pranayama I feel this is very important by gaining the knowledge to calm the whole body down reducing stress and anxiety by moving into the present moment.
After completing my 200 hour course in April 2022 I wanted to learn more about yoga and how the body works I then completed my additional 300 hours in November 2025 to become a 500 hour yoga teacher registered and certified by yoga alliance international.
Since starting to teach the community class at Fairhaven Methodist Church I have done a CPD course for sequencing outside the box and an additional chair yoga course as I know how important it is to be inclusive and create sequences which inspire and challenge.
Based on the Fylde Coast in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire I look forward to helping you on your journey, yoga can be practiced at any age it's never too late to move you body with ease and flow creating strength and alignment in the body helping to prevent injury.
